NiVa Contemporary Art - (click this link) under construction
Hi everyone
I've just started building a blog for my art.. (one I did a while back was removed!) this is an old slideshow I created when my paintings were for sale.
http://thevalkvault.blogspot.com/
Here is another painting I did for my parents newly built house to match the curtains we chose >>
and a few others not shown in the slideshow ----
A landscape to prove I can actually paint pictures :P This was for my grandparents (not usually my style as I'm sure you can tell)
These are 3 paintings I created for recessed windows in my parents house with halogen lights inset above. I painted the entire 2 walls in the dining room the same colour as the painted plaster on the canvas'
Another 2x2 metre geometic oil on canvas - as you can tell I love symmetry and geometric designs!
This is where I stayed for a wedding in Paphos, Cyprus. The couple exchanged vows at this spot of the resort, so I drew it for them - end result below.
Hopefully my style will provide some additional inspiration for painting work we do later down the track; or what you decide to do for your own interiors one day!

Couple of rooms where colour = stress buster!
Room 1. Who says lavender is just for your nanna! This room will release all your stress and the pressure of the day. Room 2. Green and white - so natural, relieving and relaxing. Who wants to sleep in?

Here a modified photo I took late one afternoon from my balcony - looking out at one of the many birds that nest in the trees around my home. I then made a negative image using Photoshop and have since painted this on a 2.0m x 1.2 double canvas using acrylic paints and plenty of varnish to give it a high gloss finish. It is now hanging in my dining room at home giving it a air of natural calmness within a contemporary design. Simple hey?
